Description

Know I personally hate this WIP, because there are many details I wanna add, while not being good at drawing them
even if I put lot of time and effort into it :X

Not to mention, I hate the fact I posted THIS mess, but I wanted to share my OC concept and...let you see how my good drawing starts:
as a mess I correct over and over

NOTE: Since Fiona wants to blend in the environment, but isn't too much of comformist, her Gijinka outfit is inspired by celtic wear,
but it has modern "vibe" in it.

I know Ulfberht sword wasn't designed for double sword battling, which is also rather known for far east battle style,
but we talk about Pokemon World, which is more of a fantasy kind, where double sword battling is pretty common.

I hope it works, duh

More I'm worried if her personality I've set will work.

"Two swords, two sides"

It's because I'm feeling unsure if her personality will work.
It's been good 2 years since I've created female Honedge/Doublade OC with bashful nature and gave her a name...
and then left her untouched.

A bashful nature sounds cute and sweet and all, but....it felt shallow over the time to me :P
I know she hated to be turned into THIS ghost type Pokemon, a sword possesed by her soul, I know she feels
really uneasy and confused about technology in modern times, but that's all...until now I believe.

Let me try to describe her personality- since Pokemon with neutral nature are seen by me to be quite plausible
and a bit more unique in personality compared to those with nature that affects their stats and favourite flavour.

- - -

Fiona was reborn as most of Honedge in the wild, in the Kalos region among the grass fields on route 6.
What felt as a single night to her, was in fact around 1, 000 years of difference between her life as a human
and now as a ghost type Pokemon. At first she was unable to accept the fact she became such Pokemon and, a sword Pokemon to add.

For a celtic woman who hunted with a bow it was confusing to have to battle as a sword- a weapon of special rank
at her times, a weapon she never battled with. Fiona was afraid to get cursed again if she will dare to use her sword,
That's why for a long time, she never came out of her sheath and thus made her spiritual energy get out of control,
because there was no stimuli and use of it, so when her Honedge instict of draining out life energy kicked in,
she made some life beings faint, but luckily not die.

This added to her fear of what she has become, a pile of worries and hidden self-hatred.
Through the time spend with Hearthur the Quilladin and Felicity the Braixen, Fiona could somewhat keep moving
through the life without giving in a thought she IS cursed and will kill soemone or herself over the time.

Since she sees modern technolgy as magic, so something exclusive to druids and their apprencities,
Fi became almost extremely bashful, to the point even if she spoken, her voice and words were cut in the middle,
so that's why she was known and called at first as "Fi" rather than her true name Fiona.
She even accepted it to look from distance at her new life before she could accept it's same herself,
just in new form and new abilities.

She found herself relief in training and battling, but also always returned daily to herb shop where Hearthur
and Felicity stayed after left their trainers to start independent life and support financially their owners a bit.

However, Fi started to get workaholic when it comes to matter of training. She felt tired of needing to drain life
energy and knowing as a Pokemon she could evolve and change...she was full of hope it will be a blessing to her life.
Meanwhile, she became friends with bird keeper trainer Trevenant named Persephone and before new ghost type friend
could defend herself with own Pokemon and own Pokemon strenght, Fi was her bodyguard.

Persephone got worried over Fi and wanted her to become more social, because she is still a human in a way
and needs to not repeat her fate from the past life when got rejected from own tribe and lived lonely in the woods.

After over a year, Fiona went with Persephone to Alola and decided to join Weirda Mirrart, mainly to train,
but also listen to her Pokemon friends advice to open for social life more.

Everything went quite well, especially when a Dhelmise with apparently male soul named Armend was met.

Fiona felt more confident, because Armend wanted to learn about himself as a Pokemon and train, because wanted to
be strong and impress female Doublade, while Fi almost grew wings to share her passion to battle and explore
the wildeness with someone who could keep up with her.

Truthfully, she's a pretty confident woman, which shows when she's with Armend and they go together alone to explore and enjoy moments in their life,
but without Armend, Fi could lose control over "killing the voices" and what she avoids, social life in modern times and interaction with others.

She almost went too far when facing Olivia's strongest Lycanroc and stayed on the field even if crunch attack bended her swords.
This is when Wei had to point out that Doublade tries too hard to train and ignores her own anxietes and needs.

She was send to poke Pelago to cure same as Koa the Decidueye, because both need and want to train to defend themself,
but without falling into obsession about it.

btw, I find it super cool that in game I decided to switch Decidueye with Doublade two levels before it learned
leaf blade now it will be really nice that it will be Fi who will make him learn such attack :icontuskiyesplz:

Trivia: her biggest fear is to not "die", so get her soul departed from her swords, but...to be rejected
or helpless. Even a thought of making someone angry makes her anxious, because it's also linked to getting rejected.
That's why Fi tends to be sweet and caring, while deeply inside she just wants to be sure she will be safe
and no one will dare to talk behind her back something that will lead to not accepting her.

This is the main reason why she's a bit....creepy. Observative, while wishing to actually do something,
but due to differences in modern relationship and understanding things, she tends to be seen as "shy".
Of course she tends to be shy, but secretly she demans attention...some nights, even as a sword, she sheds some tears
from her gemstone eyes, because nightmares that haunt her distort her view for new reality she's in.

PS: if you ask me, what the heck has Weirda Mirrart to do with Fiona...know that they got pretty close personalities
and view for the life. Hearthur belonged to Wei, so that's how Fi interacted with Wei couple of times.
Soothing nature and will to explain a lot is what makes Fi comfortable.

It looks pretty awesome, Weirda~

Then again, I've always been partial to dual-sword-wielders in video games.
