Those Fairies

...I'll give 'em fairly good attention.

BECAUSE THEY GET HATED(As for Snubbull, I mean Granbull after it changed into fairy type). Or they're ignored.
Especially Slurpuff.

I CAN SEE WHY, I UNDERSTAND PPL, I ALSO DIDN'T FELT IN LOVE WTTH THEM, BUT...Come on, they're not that bad.
They're not like Lickilicky, Magmortar and Rhyperior.

They have something good in concept, they're original. Don't hate them just because they're stupid or THEY HAVEN'T TURNED INTO
WHAT WE EXPECTED. Maybe I felt dissapoint with Bunnelby and Litleo(especially) evolution, but I accepted that.
I also felt dissapointed with Spiritzee not turning into flamingo, but...Aromatisse is not that bad.
Propably they STARTED out of seeing flamingo dancing and having such weird, long legs...so they thought about can-can dance
and thought that fluffy round birdie will be better than "ohh just flamingo...how the heck it's so slow with such long legs?!"

Not every single one from all Pokemon is awesome. We still doesn't have cheetah, smilodon(I mean, non-legendary, a-khem...),
Stegosaurus, Therizinosaurus, peachock, toucan or mantis shrimp Pokemon or MANTICORE which I expected and wished so much for Litleo.
Roseate Spoonbill would be cool Psychic/ flying following Kadabra and Alakazam's spoons...or Psychic /Fairy to eliminate
dark trouble for psychic type.
Or hello, Jacobin pigeon...which turns into gryphon since birdie has such a mane...maybe they hold on some better things for future?
Like Garchomp or Gastrodon that were supposse to be in 3rd gen?

Not to mention, people who design Pokemon have to do that in time.
If you design creatures, you might get the point. It's not going with "let's create around 100 new creatures! That's easy."

"5...15...44...UGHH...we need some diversity...a different version of this...something new...and inspiration...

I remember when I was doing Zigimons. It was because I naively believed in one guy we're working on project for game,
but well...it turned out as he haven't even knew how serious and difficult thing is and where to start. At last I've got a lot
of great creatures for future and experienced it's actually hard to design a lot of awesome and cool creatures in short time.
We're not machines, our brain and inspiration cannot get into "awesome" mode with flawless neverending process.

Maybe that's why I am not THAT mad like other Pokemon fans at those designs we say "this should be way better!"

Ladies and gentlemans, yes, I don't want to procrastinate getting finally to work on Kalos story comic and reference sheets before,
but I thought I will do that as reference for these Pokemon if I will want to put them in comic background.
Not to mention, I actually decided my yet not shown to public OC Tinagi who travelled with Weirda in Sinnoh will have Slurpuff.
It was indtant decision XD
...I wonder if it should be shiny, but...Tinagi already has albino Quilava, so I think that would be too much :Y
Albeit I think the idea of "chocolate dog" getting poisoned by eating too much chocolate once and then send to family which knows
a lot about feeding Pokemon and taking professional care at them would work...Swirlix evolves trough trade, so it would be too ugly
to first owner, so decided to send it to someone who wanted it...Tinagi's passion is cooking and doing sweets, so he would know how to make meringue,whipped cream or Mille-feuille which are (probably) the best for that Pokemon.
I just like shiny Slurpuff so much...! ughh I feel SO awkward with dog paws.

I have still unfinished work with hated/disliked/(or being ignored for fanart) Pokemon like Stantler, Purrugly and Barbaracle,
but that last one stopped me as I cannot get cool artwork for it for an experiment speedpaint. I try to not force myself, but stay "fresh" and so far,
it's my best strategy to improve pretty fast.

I blame my friend, tigersylveon for this work. I don't want to copy our conversation, because this is all our private thing, but
what I want to say is, LOL she actually said I should do a superheroine commercial as we talked about Spritzee and Aromatise
that shall get some lovely fanart, so I decided I'll put some Spiritzee encounter in my Kalos story comic.

and then this, but come on, I am not THAT serious.

I think I did FAIRLY job over those FAIRIES even tho they look NOTHING like the most common presentation
of faires we know...well, it's Pokemon: an alternate universe.

(I also know she loves pink and fairy types)

Specially for you, Dear. I hope not only you will enjoy what I've done for them. Not pure artwork though, but two birds
with one stone: some love and great fanart for them and reference with concept for my poke-universe~

Now I feel so sorry for Snubbulls females who wants to be pretty girls among Pokemon...everyone saying they're ugly.
Having wrinkles...I can see how other dog or even cat Pokemon are laughing at it Especially some SNUBBISH Furfrous towards Snubbulls.

Okay, okay, but here goes my headcanon they doesn't feel that at the beginning...think about it: we like cats, puppies and short
faced dogs, because they reminds us OUR faces. We hate sphinx cat and wrinkled dogs as wrinkles are seen in our eyes
as feathure of very old or illness. Let's look from different view now: our faces with sticking our noses, no muzzles,
weird, wrinkled inside ears seems ugly to them!

NOW THAT'S WEIRD haha

P.S: I'm sorry(?) that Slurpuff gonna be doubled. It will be again in mentioned unfinished file, because I really wanted to draw
shiny version. It looks more like dog to me and as for Pokemon itself...like chocolate, you know XD

Funny thing is, like with Scrafty, I personally hate or dislike original Pokemon!
Yeah, it's weird to love Scrafty when you dislike its original look... >scratches the head<
or like with Quilladin- it's just walking head with legs!
...that's why even when I draw cartoon one, I just CANNOT do right proportion on it.

The very last thing about this work: unlike mentioned unfinished work, here I did outline. not only I didn't knew for the first time
what to do with Slurpuff, but since I KNOW I want to mix lineless and lineart drawing in my comic especially on such fluffy things,
I decided to train this here.

Refrences: Flamingo for pink feathers(but I've got confused at curved ones ),violet backed starling or amethyst starling male for purple feathers, boreal owl sleeping
with some traits from european eagle owl, french bulldog for Snubbull.
Slurpuff is the hardest, because there's nothing I would use as reference...curled hair on dog is sshort, I haven't seen anything
puffy with curled hair...
