Artblock. I. HATE. THIS.
It's so frustrating when I'm done with all the duties and (u)necessary things and I won't go on a walk in late evening or a night! >.<
So I want to draw...I have MULTIPLE of sketches, WIPs and reference sheets to do.
NOPE.
It wasn't only an artblock, but also lack of confidence, since I felt so unimportant again(blame people don't like
when I add humans to my drawings, especially TWO certain humans...blah) I cannot focus, my arm is shaking, since not enough of confidence.
Grrreeat...

I decided to continue this sketch, since Kongamato sketch was so detailed already and I decided to re-draw Andre totally
with my new method of drawing humans. Albeit his face expression is the same.

-Weirda, why do you enjoy grumpy faces?!
-I don't know, might my Swampert created that passion of one kind of expression

Because sometimes you walk through the city and after hearing some faggots you wanna say "oh yeah, you're not better..."
"...people..."

I decided to draw this now, since I cannot wait for getting clear ideas and work on scenes around the flight on Kongamato
(it won't be only the flight with animation, but also more awesome things before and after!).Kongamato's arms while being on the ground are soo interesting, unique and cool!
Might a bit creepy probably...I don't know, for me it's fascinating and I love his teeth and some fuzz and more of a bird cry....

Kalos...Pokemon amie...Cupcakes? EWW. However, I believe and I will show the idea that there are cupcakes made from insects or meat,
because seriously, there are cakes made of them! Of course not all people get them.
There are many people that are aknowledged or just stupid by feeding their Pokemon with sweets "Because it loves it!".
and that's how they harm them. Like keeping Manectric in your home while it needs A LOT of running and the fresh air to be healthy.

Aww, I just see how Kongamato chomped happily a snack, cuddled the head to Andre to thanks and then...that girl.
Darn people, Noivern is not the only one cute wyvern Pokemon and it doesn't has such pretty teeth.
Yes, I see that Kongamato cuddled its head, because I see this species showing affection like albatross does.

You shall get used to Professor Tipsy's true look of his lab coat most of time...he's a man, not a pendant.
and yes, all the lines on his trousers were handmade, the texture didn't work for not detailed view(or at last I don't know how to do it.
I JUST ENJOY WASTING TIME, it relaxes me.

I decided to not forget about some situation and the background.
So I added the background. The main thing for comic work, at last as a blurry speedpaint, but characters cannot float in the air.
..unless it's pokemon with levitate or in sky battle

The background is a bit blurry and looking lazy, I seriously cannot motivate myself enought yet for more effective ones...
even if it looks lazy, I seriously put effort here, believe me, especially on putting some perspective...still, a bit awkward result >,>

Anyway, it's one of the streets in the Lumiose City, where are hundreds of stands(I hope I choosed the right english word)
where Andre bought some fresh fish for Kongamato, since it has patiently waited for him on one of the roofs
(d'aww, I cannot wait to show it. Now, epic crossover time! 4th Harry Potter movie and the dragon on the roof....
Truthfully, it was NOT a dragon, but a WYVERN! weeee~ )
pardon my digression- continuing describing: there's a cafe with an access to sit on fresh air, where two womans are talking
about Professor Tipsy, since it all has started from that they're waiting for order and instead of admiring the beauty of the day
the girl is just looking for something to critic. There are just people who feel better when critic others, right...?
and I guess not many people feel all right with Andre's dirty lab coat in region where all is about fashion and elegance.
Especially those who are native to this region and they live here, so they act on with looking good.
 
I hope you guessed the scene from the drawing in the right way.
P.S.: Professor Tipsy's right hand is in the pocket, because I didn't knew how it would look AND it would be so difficult for me to draw
-so let's say, he wiped out his hands after feeding with fish and put the cloth into the pocket.

Geez, drawings of Pokemon scenery, especially the city is so rare! Truthfully, mostly I can see it in nuzlockes...
So I didn't have any support before I started to draw this... -_-'
I am not happy with the background result, but it's better to try and fail, make one step forward in number of exercises
than to give up and never get to know how bad or good I can be at something like that

----Pokemon redesign thrivia and some facts about Aerodactyl-------

Aerodactyl size: 1,8 m at shoulders when it straightens its posture (like pterosaurs did when walking on the land, however in my take
Aerodactyl is not 100% pterosaur, but the first Wyvern Pokemon, a pterosaur with some wyvern traits like for example different
built of its three fingers-they're more pointed forward and even create a palm, because I try to follow the original desing of Pokemon 99,9%
of the time. Legs are more massive and the tail is not as stiffen as pterosaurs was had.

YES I CHANGED MY AERODACTYL REDESIGN; Pardon, perfectionism. The head is based on Raeticodactylus, BUT. Not the teeth.
It's not only that I love such long, thin teeth personally(since I was little girl), but Pokedex entry says it has saw-like fangs.
Looking at the artwork...it's a bit confusing.
Conclusion?
Since pterosaurs were so various and different like ceratopsians with the head, I think it would be sooo beautiful that Aerosaur
would be another species with documented various subspecies
Some specialized to feed on clams, some on fish and some on insects. Kongamato is the one who fed on fishes. Aerosaur with the teeth
like Raeticodactylus specialized to eat clams, while the ones who started to eat insects...
has enhanced supersonic move and adapted to different environment becoming Noivern species.

The first discovered Aerodactyl fossil ever was described as a find on very young one and it haven't contained the tail and complete skull.
Later, paleontologist found the "fur" that cointained DNA in amber. After reviving the first Aerodactyl in history, scientist found not only it was big Pokemon, but it was also had a tail! After that, many fossils described as prehistoric Charizards with no arms were re-definied
as Aerodactyl fossil.
Scientist decided to not allow reviving this species from fossil, because fossils are too delicate and there's over 90% chance
it can get damaged while trying to get enough of DNA material! That's why officialy reviving can be done only by taking DNA material
from fragments of body found in ambers.

Now.

Why Aerosaur not Aerodactyl?
Because the first fossil truthfully, as Roark, Byron and Andre paleontologist said after intense study- was a fossil of Noibat!
What's more, it was even a half-breed with Aerosaur, that's why it looked so similar to it at first sight.
phew. I solved it logically somehow. (artist note: First, Pterodactyl was had maximally 1 meter wingspam. Second,
it doesn't has long tail, because it was advanced pterosaur. Albeit there's Darwinopterus, I know. Now third, the most important:
Aerodactyl is a mix of Pterosaur and wyvern. Wyvern is not a pterosaur, but dragon with no additional wings. Fourth: Aerodactyl
tail wasn't stiffen, like pterosaurs or dinosaurs even had; it's more like crocodile-reptile tail)

Note to TipsyRa1d3n: I decided to add a bit more (back)story to your OC:
Professor Tipsy got hired year ago to work with Roark and Byron, two other Paleontologist to work on discovery of Rampardos fossil
and a find of massive burial of Bastiodons and few Shieldons earlier.
Byron and Andre were later called to observe the population of Aggron and Steelix on Iron Island.
Weirda already knows he IS a paleontologist- she got to know this or on a ship heading to Iron Island, or on island itself.
I have no details yet in scenario, only this concept as for now.

After I started sketching the background, I decided to add some more Pokemon than only Fletchling to enjoy the work.
Remoraid as fish, 'cause Magicarp is not tasty and doesn't live in ocean and Aerosaur eats Pokemon from the ocean mostly.
Then I thought: "Fish are on ice to stay fresh...hmm, it would be nice to add an ice Pokemon that helps to keep fish meat fresh!"
Sneasel would be cool, but it would eat fish. No.
Swinub? Being hungry, it also would eat something it has nearbly its nose, because it's omnivorous.
After looking up I decided: SNOVER!
There's almost no realistic take on it! and NO ONE EVER DREW IT like I see it: as a pineapple- okay, it's a cone truthfully,
but first what comes to my mind is a pine-apple and it IS a cone-pineapple mix! woohoo~ Sinnoh Pokemon ftw!
It's a plant, it won't eat fish and doesn't need much to be happy.

Last two cents: after I was in like in 3/4 of the work, I noticed Kongamato's right arm is way too long.
NOOOOOO Oh Arceus, NO! Call Yveltal to suck my life, 'cause I sucked with proportions so badly!
Gwaaaah.... I haven't changed it. The composition was done, I would had to re-do shading for this part too
and I would had to draw missing part of bushes and try to repeat the process...nope...! sigh. What a pity.
Mistakes. I cannot avoid them...!
However, I was such a freaking perfectionist to correct little mistakes done on Aerodactyl pteroid bones
(little outstanding "spikes" on its arms, where small stretched skin is attached) I sometimes think they're movable, but they're not!
I'm sorry if you have to read like too much, but you just can know that drawing is my passion, I enjoy it, but it is
also a challening work.

geez, TipsyRa1d3n, why do you watch me? I'm sure you'll have mixed feelings about this drawing of your OC.
I guess Andre would probably just ignore all that people say- of course, but if you hear all failed, because too loud whispers
for longer time, you can get sure annoyed.
