Hydreigon is an embody of darkness force that warps around your body, around your mind, around your soul...

Taking every of your breath slowly untill you'll be unable to take the air and you'll see the darkness coming to your eyes, a cold darkness coming to your body, the heavy darkness that will make your soul sink...

It looks like a hydra with multiple heads that are swaying around you looking for your weak point, striking the toxin of fear into your vains...because there no's escape. It can kill even when its shape is seen at the horizon.

It has appeared.
It has arrived.
Only standing againist it can give you a chance to live.
Don't escape. It will kill you when you turn back to not look into its eyes.

The paladin however can stand face to face with it- it has a force that can break through the dark that expanded from the dragon heart.

Even the dragon breath of wild rage doesn't affect its courage;

it stands with stoical posture praying to Gods for protection before it will attack right into the point that nobody dares
-the dragon's head. Its main and only one true head.

Even if dragon tried to deceive the paladin with its tricks, with its false heads the beast hasn't knew its opponent seeks only the truth.
It always stays calm inside, to unleash its merciless attack with its claws.

Chesnaught claws are like swords- the swords of justice to anyone who hurts and destroys the nature.

Anyone who thinks can decide of ending life at it will.

The sword has two blades and two sides- it can spare the attack as well as hurt the enemy.

If you believe in the force of nature spirit,

Paladin's light will chase away the death and evil.

Do you see the light of ideas and truth or you have fallen into the darkness of reality and facts?

Your decision won't affect the fight.

It will affect your inside.

FFFFFFF-- Game FFFF---freak.

Why did you made knight/Paladin Pokemon a grass type. Grass is not goot being defensive, but more of it- Chesnaught has almost no chance againist dragon Pokemon. I know, fighting type suits knight/Paladin theme, fairy would be ALMOST total nonsense.

Game Freak. You ruined it.

I sometimes wish there would be light type; Fighting is super effective over dark(original: evil) type, so I guess it won't became true :C

I also admitt, Game freak started with great idea for Kalos starters, but the Chesnaught and chespin line moveset got ruined.

Seriously, think about it for little while.

No leaf sword.

Mud shot while it has already rollout as better to deal with type disatvantage.

Seed bomb? all right, I can hardly understand- chestnuts...or for fun: modern knight- a soldier XD

if it has pain split, it should has also retaliate or quick/wide quard

I don't adore Chesnaught design, but I adore the concept for this line.

Making break really helps. I was had trouble with 'explaining' how it does the Spike shield. I have't found any logical thing that would fit the original animation and creators concept. Until today, hehe, it will even fit its paladin theme.

I also missed some challenge into designing realistic Pokemon- yep I am sketching and writing next parts of my fav type challenge or ideas for my comic,
but I really want now to focus and wonder over Quilladin and Chesnaught. I need to do my best to touch even those who think they're "meh"
or even that they're one of the worst Pokemon that was created. I am serious here, I saw polls and some comments about them.

Thrivia: Even if sloths doesn't have visible ears, I made Chesnaught reduced, but visible small ears- its previous evolution has ears
and I just like it. 'Me gusta'

Armour- original Chesnaught has really odd armour I must say; it looks more of a wear, so might that's why it disguis people.
It might remind of Digimon that way :/

Armour and cape mix? Wouldn't it be better if it would have an armour and leaf resembling to its previous stage brown leaf-shape gap in the armour?

Seriously, each Pokemon stage has some connections to its line- Chespin and Quilladin are perfect, but Chesnaught...I think just different person created design concept and haven't discussed/looked with the previous ones.

Anyway, for my realistic Chesnaught it's a mix between Glyptodon and...Ankylosauria/Nodosauria armour.
Especially Polacanthus. There was Edmontionia with big pair of spikes turned to the front.

CONVERGENCE EVOLUTION...!
Who said resemblances must be so narrow-minded?

Commentary about Hydreigon design:

Since its based on hydra, but has arms(looking attientively at anime and official art), I follow the concept idea
with its "wings". Hydreigon uses its feathers and false heads to intimidate and scary opponent, especially other dragons,
because as many animals, its better to scary and chase than fight and getting hurt.

I know Hydreigon smaller heads doesn't has teeth, but I just wanted to add neat concept of claw-fangs, also to make them more
similar to the main head.
If you don't know, Pyhtons DOES HAVE legs with claws, only back pair, but they're highly reduced.

I am mad. I have a concept for my Pokemon World why they're not liked by trainers, because it's just easy, the problem comes,
when I want to build some epic aura around them.

A knight?
A paladin?
Defending and never attacking, following their glorious idea of not hurting in barbarian way?

Seems it's not enough, people don't adore the knight honor. And Paladin's glory, Paladins are above knights. i alwyas loved Paladin's design in Heroes of might and magic series <3

My comic about Kalos was born from the feel I want to make the glory for this Pokemon line.

As for now, I have few ideas, I put them into this drawing.

If you think I would put this into comic, I think it would be not possible- if Weirda's Quilladin would evolve and the opponent trainer
would send out a Hydreigon, Weirda would return her Pokemon, because she's thinking even too much strategically- she knows that there are Pokemon
good in defence, but poor in special defense or vice versa; she would knew her Pokemon would get hurt badly.

okay blah blah bla, I am still thinking what to do.
Lack of ideas. I am not a genius.
